BIO
Pinmiao Lin is an interactive, video, installation artist based in China, born in Wenzhou Zhejiang Province in 1999. She graduated from the Department of New Media Art, Taipei University of the Arts, and is currently studying at the Department of Fine Arts, Chelsea College of Art&Design, University of the Arts London.
She is interested in creating kinetic installations and transformations of ready-made objects, focusing on the inspiration that comes from the interaction between human senses, human needs and the environment. She focuses on the dynamic changes of objects as an expression of emotions to talk about her own experience and human issues. She enjoys exploring the specific relationship between works and space, and tries to explore more possibilities of works in a humorous and relaxed way.
Her recent works focus on the relationship between nature and man-made objects, and she tries to deeply reflect and guide people to understand and think about the evolution of the relationship between man-made and nature through her works, so as to provide some useful thoughts and inspirations for the future development of society and culture.

个人经历
1999年生于中国浙江温州，本科毕业于台北艺术大学新媒体艺术学系，硕士现就读于伦敦艺术大学切尔西艺术学院美术系，互动、影像、装置创作者。喜欢动力装置、现成物改造等，以人类感官、人性需求与环境之间相互作用之间迸发的灵感为创作焦点。注重以物的动态变化作为情感的抒发，来谈论自身经验及人与人之间的议题；乐于探讨作品与空间的特定关系，尝试以幽默轻松的创作方式探索作品的更多可能性。使用媒材形式不一，她近期创作聚焦于自然与人造物之间的关系，试图透过作品能深刻地反映和引导人们对人造与自然关系的演进进行理解和思考，从而为未来的社会和文化发展提供一些有益的思考和启示。
